For BIA, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are top priorities and are an integral part of its activities. BIA integrates prevention and management of risks within all its activities, in its offices, at its customers or on the mining sites.
BIA has defined a strong HSE policy, which is applied on a daily basis by its co-workers and its subcontractors. In addition, BIA is certified VCA (Veiligheids Checklist Aannemer or Safety Checklist for Contractors) in Benelux and has the OHSAS 18001 certificate (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Specification) in one of its mining sites in Africa.
